Service changes who you are and leaving it can shake everything that once made sense. Too many veterans and families are left to navigate complex systems, fractured routines, and invisible injuries without the understanding or support they deserve. TribeWell was created to change that.
We combine professional social work, lived veteran experience, and practical guidance to help you rebuild a life that feels stable, connected, and meaningful after Defence.
Practical Support. Real Understanding. Lasting Change.
Every veteran’s path is different, but the challenges often look the same - identity, purpose, and belonging. TribeWell provides flexible, DVA-funded support to help veterans and families work through these challenges in ways that make sense in the real world.
Transition and Adjustment Support
One on one sessions to unpack identity, loss, finding new directions and building a sense of purpose beyond the uniform.
System Navigation and Advocay
Guidance through DVA, Centrelink, housing and community systems. We'll help you understand your options, your entitlements and your next steps.
Family and Relationship Support
Transition affects everyone. We help families strengthen communication, reconnect and support each other through the ups and downs.
Education and Workshops
Tailored training for Defence, community organisations and workplaces to improve the understanding of veterans transition, mental health and resilence.
Community and Connection
From combat sports programs like Veterans Mixed Martial Arts to peer circles and group sessions, TribeWell connects veterans to purpose and mate ship again.
For every Veteran of Every Era
Whether you served a single year or a full career, the impact of Defence life stays with you. TribeWell works with veterans from all generations and their families to rebuild wellbeing, purpose, and stability.
We support:
Education - The missing link
Transition education shouldn’t happen at the end, it should start years before discharge.
And it shouldn’t just focus on the member it needs to include families, too. When one person serves, the whole family serves. When one person transitions, the whole family transitions. But families are often left in the dark, expected to adapt without the same knowledge, language, or access to information.
We need to:
When families are informed, they become part of the recovery and not bystanders to it. Knowledge builds confidence and confidence builds connection.
If you have a DVA Gold or White Card, you can access social work sessions with TribeWell at no cost. Your GP, psychiatrist, or psychologist can refer you directly for psychosocial or transition support. We’ll work with you to make the process simple from referral to first session.

We’re not another counselling service or online provider. TribeWell was built by a veteran, for veterans to offer support that feels genuine, grounded, and practical. Our approach is guided by three principles:
Clarity – Simplify systems and build confidence in navigating them.
Connection – Strengthen relationships and rebuild trust in yourself and others.
Continuity – Create real plans that hold up beyond the crisis.
At TribeWell, service continues in a new form, with purpose and support that lasts.
Whether you’re a veteran, partner, GP, or service provider reaching out is the first step.
You don’t need to have it all worked out before you do.
